Westbourne Ladies have topped their division of the Norwest Ladies League; our Men came runners up in the West Wilts 4 X 4 knockout competition; Emily was part of the Wiltshire Amy Rose Bowl (under 31) team which won the Trophy at the National Finals for the first time; Isaac represented the Club at under 25 level. A good season to celebrate.

TRY BOWLS AT WESTBOURNE
Come along to our OPEN DAY on Saturday 12th May between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and try the game of lawn bowls free of charge.
Our members and coaches will be pleased to welcome you to our friendly club and we hope you will discover a new active sport to enjoy whatever your age or ability.
Please wear flat sole shoes if you can, everything else you need will be available.
WESTBOURNE READY FOR THE 2018 SEASON
The 2018 playing season opens at Westbourne on Saturday 14th April (weather permitting), We shall welcome our new players and existing members for a get together at the Clubhouse ready to ‘test the green’ at 2:00 p.m. We look forward to an enjoyable and successful bowling year.
Our Friday evening Club Nights begin on 27th April at 6:00 p.m. and our Youth Sessions start on Saturday 28th April at 10:00 a.m.
We welcome new bowlers from age 8 to age 80 to any of these sessions., so if you want to try bowls come to Westbourne.
Teams reach County final
Congratulations to Westbourne Ladies Jenny Oliver, Sheila French and Joan Tugwell for reaching the semi finals of the Wiltshire Benevolent Trophy. Well done also, Westbourne C, represented by Paul Jenkins, Vic White, Barry Curtis and Terry Wiltshire for qualtfying for the play-offs of the White Horse Senior Citizens Leagues.
